The department of Pulmonary Medicine, Christian Medical College, Vellore and the International Asthma Services, Colorado, USA are pleased to announce that they would be hosting the 5th National Conference on Asthma, Allergy and Immunology. This conference will be an academic feast for practicing and aspiring allergists of our country, on the practice of evidence-based allergy and recent trends in the field. The prevalence of allergic diseases is increasing at an alarming rate, and there are not enough specialists who can offer standard care for the numerous patients who suffer from allergic disorders. Furthermore, there is a dearth of structured training programs and there are very few opportunities for the training and certification of Allergists.
This conference is expected to offer valuable insights to General and respiratory physicians, Pediatricians, ENT surgeons and GPs, who manage allergy patients. Reputed faculty in allergy, asthma and applied immunology, from India and overseas shall participate, and lay the platform for a great learning experience. The conference will host lectures, interactive case discussions and workshops. There will be opportunities for presentation of original research as free papers and posters and receiving feedback from doyens in the field. We will have interesting cases that will be presented and discussed. The conference will be held at the Bagayam campus of the Christian Medical College, Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India from 23 – 25 of January 2025.
